Five-Star Cinnamon Rolls

3 1/2 c warm water

6 tbsp yeast

1 c oil

3/4 c white sugar

3 beaten eggs

1 tbsp salt

10 1/2 c bread flour

Frosting:

3 c powdered sugar

1/3 c butter

1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

2 T milk

For Orange Rolls:

1 1/2 c powdered sugar

3 T margarine

1 T grated orange peel

2 T orange juice

Beat together and spread on 1/2 of dough. For 24 rolls, double ingredients.

Mix together water, yeast, oil, and sugar and let stand for 15 minutes. Add eggs, salt, and flour. Knead well until dough is silky for about 5-7 minutes. DON’T LET RISE!!

Divide dough in half. Roll out dough the same size as a large cookie sheet. Brush with melted butter. Sprinkle with one cup of white sugar (brown sugar is best) and 2 teaspoons of cinnamon.

Roll up and pinch seam. Cut into 12 rolls. Place rolls on greased pan.

Repeat with 2nd half of dough. Let rise 10 minutes while oven heats to 400° F. Bake 15-20 minutes.

Frost with powdered sugar frosting or cream cheese frosting. You can also put grated orange peel in the frosting.

Yeild: 24 LARGE rolls!
