Pumpkin Dessert
CAKE MIXTURE:
1 yellow cake mix
1/2 c soft margarine
1 egg, beaten
FILLING:
1 (17oz) can pumpkin
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 c brown sugar
2/3 c canned milk
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
TOPING:
1 c dry cake mix
1/4 c soft margarine
1/2 c white sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
chopped nuts (optional)
CAKE MIXTURE:
Remove 1 cup dry cake mix. Set aside. Mix together remaining ingredients, beat well. Spread on bottom of 9 x 13 pan, evenly.
FILLING:
Mix together well. Pour over cake mixture.
TOPING:
Mix together to “crumble” stage. Sprinke on top of pumpkin mixture. Bake at 350° for 40-50 minutes.
